Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has touched the hearts of many after promising to take care of a young boy whose mother died while looking for greener pastures in Saudi Arabia.
Sonko had attended the burial and his words and a promise to take care of the young boy left many Emotional.
The former governor promised to pay school fees for the boy and to take him to his own home if the family is okay with it.
While condoling with the family, he also promised to pay any debts the family has and to give them financial support due to the harsh economy in the country.
Mercy was among three Kenyan women whose bodies were flown by Mike Sonko to Kenya after they died while working in Saudi Arabia.
The other two were Jackline Muthoni and Lucy Kea.
Sonko also promised that the families will get justice for what happened to their daughters.
