Njoki Muchemi and her two daughters Brianna and Adrianna Stanton will be buriend in the United States on 22nd December 2022.
Njoki Muchemi, 49, was shot dead by her husband together with their two daughters Adrianna Stanton, 17, and Brianna Stanton, 11 at Louisville in Kentucky.
Her husband Gary Stanton is believed to have turned the gun on himself after commiting the murders.
The families have agreed that Ms Njoki and her daughters will be Burried in the US since they were both American and Kenyan citizens.
Njoki's family from Kirinyaga are still in shock since they believed Gary was a good man who loved his family. They had a good life and Njoki worked as a nurse.
"Mr Stanton had a passion for his wife. He and my sister shared bank accounts. They were honest with each other and no one expected that such a seemingly good relationship would end like this", said Njoki's brother Moses Muchemi.
Months before the shooting incident, Gary and Njoki were in Kirinyaga for the burial of her father and he helped quite alot with the funeral arrangements.
The family is also preparing to travel to the United States for the burial.
