Autopsy Results have shown that Phyllis Jepleting, a 19 year old student who was found dead at her boyfriend’s house in Nakuru was strangled.

Phyllis Jepleting went missing few days before Christmas. Her body was discovered on January 1st at her boyfriend's house in Nakuru with blood oozing from her mouth, nose and ears.

An autopsy conducted by Government Pathologist Titus Ngulungu showed that the young lady died of asphyxiation caused by manual compression of the neck. 

“As a result of my examination, I formed the opinion that the cause of death was asphyxiation, caused by manual neck compression."

After they closed for the December holidays, Jepleting's parents sent her KSh 2,600 and told her to travel home. However, she decided to travel to Nakuru to spend the holiday with her boyfriend.

Her boyfriend Ezra Kipkemoi who is the main suspect in the murder has since gone missing.

The police have launched a manhunt for Kipkemoi as investigation into the murder continues.
