The founder and group managing director of RFH Healthcare Dr Maxwell Okoth has promised to sponsor the education of Britney Dova, the young girl left behind by cancer patient Maurice Ochieng well known as Danny Miles.

Dr Maxwell Okoth said he understands education is very important as also as a doctor he knows very well the burden caused by cancer.

His gesture is to make sure that Danny's wish for his daughter to receive education even after his death is achieved.

"We plan to support her to the highest level of education she will be able to attain, hoping and praying that God gives us the life to see this happen."

The doctor added that he plans to give Danny's widow a job so that she can have a sustainable source of income.

"She needs some sustainable way to guarantee a living because you can't live on an empty stomach, so we'll se where she fits in our human resource system."

Maurice Ochieng well known as Danny Miles caught the attention of Kenyans on 19th January 2023 when he penned a heartbreaking letter to Safaricom.

The young dad said he had wanted to take his family for a vacation but the cancer had drained him. He asked Safaricom to take care of his young daughter once he is gone.

"My young Daughter Britney Dova is still young. She has not started school yet. I was planning but I am sorry I have failed as a dad. Had my left arm chopped off but still the cancer metastasized. I am appealing to you to just help my daughter once I am gone because I can feel it."

News of his death broke last evening, March 21, 2023. According to his wife, Danny passed on at 10 pm last night.
