Detectives are investigating an incident where a Maasai Mara University Student was found murdered days after she was reported missing.
The body of 20 year old Adah Nyambura Ameru was discovered dumped in a Bush half naked with minor injuries on the face according to reports provided by the Narok County police boss Kizito Mutoro. The body was discovered by members of the public at Macedonia area in Narok town.
"When police officers visited the scene they found the body of Adah Nyambura Ameru age 20 who is a first-year student at Maasai Mara University. The body was lying in a bush half naked with minor bruises on the face."
According to OB report 15/30/04/2023 Adah Nyambura's boyfriend Brian Kimutai who is also a student, reported her missing on Saturday morning at 0300hrs after partying at Elevate nightclub.
Police suspect that the deceased was raped before being murdered. Fingers point at boda boda riders accused of often preying on university students going home after partying in nightclubs.
Maasai Mara University students have given the police a two day ultimatum to apprehend the criminals who have been attacking students.
The body was moved to Narok County referral hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
