Media personality Ciku Muiruri and her family are going through a tough time following the kidnapping of her daughter.
In a Facebook post, Ciku revealed that her daughter Erica Njeri and her friend Shanice Agose were kidnapped by a taxi driver on Sunday at around 2am.
" In the early hours of Sunday morning 2am, my daughter and a friend of hers were abducted by a taxi driver .I'm going to do everything in my power to get her home safely but I know that we cannot even tie our shoes without God's grace"
The media personality asked for prayers during this difficult time, for the safety of hr daughter and friend and for the kidnappers that their souls may not be lost.
"We know that prayers can move mountains. Stop wars. Please pray for my daughter Erica Njeri and her friend Shanice Agose as part of your intentions. Also pray for those who have taken them that their souls may not be lost."
The devastated mother said she has no control of what is happening to her daughter right now and whether she will ever see her alive again. She however revealed she will fast until her daughter returns home safely. She added that she has faith in God and she is hopeful that she will soon be united with Erica.
Erica Njeri is a 26-year-old University of Nottingham alumni and the founder of the Le Ngai Foundation.
Erica has also passionately pushed for easy access to blood for all Kenyans and even participated in the 2013 Chicago Marathon to raise money for a mobile blood unit.
