It was an emotional day as family and friends gathered to pay their last respects to Dubai based Kenyan entertainer DJ Babu.
DJ Babu was laid to rest in Muranga in an emotional ceremony attended by friends and family who were dressed in t-shirts bearing his name.
The DJ and event promoter was pronounced dead on 31st July 2023 after a grisly road accident.
Babu passed away just days after hosting rapper Khaligraph Jones in Dubai together with his team.
DJ Babu began his entertainment Career in late 2008. He was the founder and CEO of Jamdown Dubai since 2013.
Before his untimely death, Babu had worked with the likes of Singer Iyanni, DJ Juan, MC Teargas, Ssaru, MC Gogo, DJ Daffy, Singer Masauti, Khaligraph Jones, MC Guru, Mejja, Nyashinski, Sauti Sol among others.
He will always be remembered as an entertainer who fought hard to share Kenyan music with the world.
His demise is a blow to the music and entertainment industry both in Kenya, Dubai, and internationally. Dj Babu will be truly remembered for actively supporting the entertainment industry by connecting artists, entertainers, and fans together through music.
