A 22 year Old student at Kanjuku Vocational Training Centre, Kiambu County has lost her life after she was fatally stabbed by her jilted lover who met her under the guise of returning her lost phone.
According to the family, their daughter Alice Wangechi and the boyfriend broke up, and he had been in possession of her phone, which he snatched from her.
A few days ago, the man called her and told her to meet near a police station so that he could hand over the phone to Wangechi, but unbeknownst to her, this was a death trap.
Alice Wangechi who had recently returned from school, agreed to meet with her lover. It was during this meeting that the tragic stabbing occurred.
The family described Wangechi as a cheerful child with a natural talent and a strong passion for education. She was pursuing a course in beauty and hairdressing before her untimely death.
The family is urging the police officers to conduct a thorough investigation to get to the bottom of the matter.
