Kenyan singer Diana Mayonde, popularly known as Mayonde has hinted at ditching the secular music industry for gospel.
In a social media post, the singer shared photos from her vacation in Lamu alongside her husband, Mbithi Masya while putting out the message.
In her message, Mayonde termed herself a prodigal daughter returning to faith, noting that she has tasted and learnt that the Lord is good.
"Lamu photo dump as I give thanks for the hand of God in my life. A prodigal daughter returning to the faith, I've experienced more beauty, love and abundance in the past year than I have in a decade," she wrote.
Adding;
"Ooh, the glory! It's all coming together as I let go of the striving and receive the kingdom. I have tasted and I have seen that the Lord is good."
