The parents of murder victim Jenae Gagnier, known to many as Mercedes Morr have spoken on their daughter's brutal murder.

Speaking to ABC News, Morr's father, Mark Gagnier recalled the fateful day he got to his daughter's house and discovered her lifeless body, noting that he would never wish what he saw on any parent.

"What I saw I wouldn't want any parent to go through. I could look in the room and there's writings all over the wall. I kind just was in shock for the whole day," Mark said.

He also recounted light momentshe shared with her departed daughter, describing her as a daddy's girl.

"I knew something was wring that was not my daughter, she would call me all the time and she'd said, 'daddy I'm checking un you' and I'd say, 'no I'm checking on you' and that was our little joke and I knew something was wrong as soon as I get there," he said.

On the other hand, Morr's mother, Jeaneta Grover wa a overwhelmed by emotions while describing her daughter's life before meeting her death.

"Yes, that was our baby and as many people in Houston knew her and loved her she was as sweet with them as she is sweet with us," Grover said. "She took care of people she's just a sweetheart and my baby is gone from a tragic event that didn't have to happen. Being strangled to death is a horrible way to die.. And itwas horrible to even think about it."

The model's lifeless body was discovered alongside that of her suspected killer, 34yearold Kevin Accorto by her father on Sunday at her house in Richmond, Texas.

Mark explained that he made his way to his daughters house after she failed to contact him

"I know my daughter and when I got to my daughter's house and it was locked up and she's not answering my phone call, which is not like her, I knew something was up. So I didn't hesitate to kick the door down. What I saw, I wouldn't want any parent to go through," said Mark.
