Her journey started with her doing background vocals as well as voiceovers for other artists. She was really growing doing what she loved and in the process, she was privileged to do commercials for various brands.
Mumbua took a break from music in 2015 and took a career in fitness which she was also passionate and enthusiastic about.
After 5 years, The Mumbua is back to pursue her music career. Her comeback track ‘karibia’ was released in February. It is about a lady who doesn’t shy off from calling out her lover. In June, she released ‘Hizi ni gani’ which was aimed at maintaining her consistency throughout 2020.

On September 8th, she released her third song ‘skiza’ which is about a lover expressing feelings towards her significant other and the assurance that their relationship will work despite the long distance between them.
Mumbua has brought a very significant aura to the music industry with the sweet voice used in constructing her songs as well as the emotions used to relay the message and for sure once you listen to her songs, you will forever be her fan.
