Mercy Kwamboka, a University Of Nairobi Student was Found Murdered, Hands Doused With Acid, Body Dumped In Mwiki.
Her family reported that Mercy went missing from her home in Pipeline on September 28 after receiving a phone call at 11 pm. She was later discovered dead under mysterious circumstances.
Stella Kerubo, Mercy’s mother, spoke to Citizen TV on October 9, revealing the shocking details of her daughter’s injuries, which included acid burns on her hands.
“They really hurt her. Her leg was broken like sugarcane, and acid was poured on her hands. She was dragged for some distance,” Kerubo said.
A witness, who wants to stay anonymous for safety, described finding Mercy in the bushes. He noted that she was lying there without her trousers, with her phone, a blanket, and one shoe nearby.
The witness said it seemed the attackers meant to kill her, as her belongings were found right next to her body.
“I found her lying here without trousers, just in her underwear. There was a phone and Ksh 1,000 next to it, along with a blanket and one black shoe,” the witness reported.
