The most anticipated fashion awards show in London, which took place on November 29 at the Royal Albert Hall, was hosted by Kenyan comedian Elsa Majimbo.

TikTok hosted this year's British Fashion Awards, and it was only fitting that the now internationally renowned Internet comedian be a part of it.

Majimbo took to Instagram on November 1 to share a few highfashion photos from the event.

"Guess who hosted the British Fashion,Awards and killed it! A star! An icon!" She wrote.

Elsa Majimbo shared the stage with Henry Holland, a designer, and Tega Alexander, the creator of TikTok.

The British Fashion Council later posted a long congratulatory message to Majimbo and her team for the job well done.

"We alongside @tiktok_uk, are proud to reveal TikTok's red carpet presenters on the night, Comedienne @majimb.o, designer @henryholland and renowned TikTok Creator @tegaalexander who will be speaking to famous faces and guests as they make their way into the iconic Royal Albert Hall

"TikTok will also have its very own Fashion Awards Glambot capturing mustsee red carpet looks which will be shared on the Fashion Awards TikTok account. Make sure not to miss the Glambot looks and all the red carpet interviews," the message read.

Majimbo rose to prominence quickly at the start of the COVID19 pandemic and has maintained a steady upward trajectory since then.

Celebrities across world have taken notice of the online sensation, with Rihanna reposting one of her Instagram videos.

On her 'Bedtime with Elsa' show, she has interviewed international stars including Arya Star, Usain Bolt, Memphis Depay, Yvonne Orji, Daniel Kaluuya, and Naomi Campbell.
