Kenyan singer Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee is elated after her daughter, Rue Baby graduated from Strathmore University.

Through her Instagram page, the mother of five celebrated her daughter noting that being a single mother is not a disability, further terming her daughter's graduation a success story.

"Being a single mother is not a tittle nor disability, it's a story of a successful journey of a mother stepping up to own all the duties for both parents including the missing one

"To provide all basics needs for her children and creat an environment condusive for healthy growth of a child," she wrote in part.

Akothee stated that she might be joking on social media but works on herself and her children off social media, further disclosing that Rue's degree becomes the second degree in her household.

"I look like a joker but off social media I got my shit together. It's the journey of a single mother for me. Today I will be very brief because I am very emotional

"Can't believe I am on my Second degree with Rue Baby. All by myself. No one has ever asked if I need help, it all looked rosy, not even a handkerchief nor a panty liner," she wrote.

Adding;

"Congratulations my darling you made parenting easy for me ,you understandstood the assignment, you bring the child! Me being your mother. If God asks me for another bunch of kids, I will still choose you and your siblings."

The musician also noted that she has never set foot in her daughter's school noting that she used to deposit funds into her daughter's account and hopes she will choose school.

"I have no idea where this school called Strathmore is! I don't even know the accounts details nor the bank they bank with

"I just transfer money into your account with hope you will either choose to spend or pay for your future," she concluded.
