Sports journalist Tony Kwalanda has disclosed that he blames himself for not pursuing TV host Joyce Maina after the two broke up.
Speaking on Switch TV, the media personality narrated he sometimes wonders why the two never sat down and talked about the issues that led to the split.
"When I am coming to work, we meet with Joyce more often and we talk and share stuff, in fact, she encouraged me the other day and told me 'Tony, go for it, we are coming to help you campaign' and I was like 'oh my God, I was about to shed a tear'
"I blame myself for not really pursuing Joyce. Sometimes I sit down and ask myself why we never sat down and addressed those small issues and worked on them and get back the relationship," he said.
Joyce confirmed that she had parted ways with Kwalanda back in March after dating for nearly six months.
During a question and answer session on her Instagram page, a fan wanted to know if she was single or in a relationship.
“Are you single” one of her fans asked. Joyce quickly responded boldly with a ‘Yes’.
She also made it clear that she in no longer in a relationship with Kwalanda while answering to a second question from a fan who wanted to know if she is still dating the sports journalist.
“Are you still dating Tony, am big fan of you.” Another fan asked. She simply replied with a ‘No’.
