It has been 8 years since the Kenyan music industry lost one of the greatest gospel artists Peter Kaberere well known as Qabbz.

Mr Kaberere was a gospel artist and operations manager at Mo Sound Limited, the company that hosts the annual gospel awards Groove Awards, who died after being electrocuted in his Nairobi car wash.

The singer was well known for his hit song 'kiburi ni Cha nini' and 'mwanake' featuring Benachi.

At his time of death, the musician left behind his son and wife Njesh Kahura who was expecting their daughter.

Celebrating his eighth anniversary, Njesh thanked God for his life.

"Continue singing with the angels. Thank you, God, for Your faithfulness."

Peter Kaberere was a great promising artist who used his talent to change people's lives. He had great dreams and will always be remembered for leaving a great mark. May he continue resting in peace.
