The missing Former Bungoma East MP Mark Barasa has been found brutally murdered with his eyes and tongue gouged out.
The body of Mark Barasa was discovered at his home farm in Tongaren, Bungoma County.
The body of the deceased was partially burned with acid and had the eyes, tongue, and left hand missing.
The 99 year old disappeared from his home and family thought he had forgotten his way home.
They looked for him everywhere and even announced in the media with the hope of finding their kin.
The family eulogised him as someone who brought critical developments to the area during his tenure as an MP between 1963 and 1969 such as Webuye Pan Papers, Lugulu Girls, Chesamisi Boys and Friends School Kamusinga.
He was married to four wives and he has 27 children.
The family are appealing to the government for speedy investigations into the murder.
