Education cabinet secretary Ezekiel Machogu has released the 2022 KCSE Results.

The CS announced the results today after meeting and briefing president William Samoei Ruto at statehouse in Nairobi.

881,416 candidates sat for the exam of which 443,644 were male and 437,772 female.

Ezekiel Machogu announced that 1,146 scored grade A where 875 were male and 271 were female.

6407 candidates scored A- where 4,445 were male and 1,962 were female.

A total of 15, 682 candidates scored B+ of which 9,578 were male and 6,104 were female.

A total of 173,345 candidates scored C+ and above.

The CS announced that parents, teachers and candidates would access their examination results through the Kenya National Examination Portal or through SMS.

Machogu noted that one would be required to send the student's details - index number- accompanied with the initials KCSE to 20076. The SMS applies to all mobile networks; one is charged Ksh25 for the service.
