Postmortem conducted yesterday, has revealed that gospel singer Ilagosa Wa Ilagosa Died of High Blood Pressure.
According to the doctor's report, the high blood pressure caused heart enlargement which eventually led to his death.
Last week, Ilagosa's father spoke to the media concerning reports circulating online that his son was poisoned.
The father said his son was on a trip with a friend and it was likely that the friend put poison in his food.
Ilagosa’s fellow artist Harry Richie, hitmaker of the song Vaida, also spoke about the issue, saying that it is highly likely that the musician was poisoned.
After his death, a video of the singer claiming a person in the industry was after his life went viral.
Friends and family met at St. Mary's hospital Langata for a service and body viewing from 10 am.
The body will then leave Nairobi for Vihiga county. The musician will be laid to rest on 16th February.
Gospel artists and Friends of the late Ilagosa have been contributing towards the funeral budget which is estimated at Ksh 1.5 Million.
