Detectives have released a CCTV footage that captures the main suspect in the murder of a lady at an Airbnb along TRM Drive Roysambu.
According to the CCTV footage, the man who had a cap on, was captured walking into a shop where he was supposed to pick the key for the apartment.
He appeared to be in a hurry as he gave the attendant the phone to talk to the Airbnb owner. He returned a few moments later and made a payment before leaving.
This was the last time he was captured in the footage as he didn't return on Sunday morning to return the key.
The slain lady was found murdered and her body chopped up. Her head was reportedly missing.
According to the caretaker, he went to check on the house and found some blood traces leading to the room. Therein, he said the house was empty and the female occupant who had come with the man was missing.
He said he followed the blood stain traces which led him to a dustbin collection point where he and other neighbors discovered remains of a person which prompted him to call the police.
The family of the deceased have identified her body at city mortuary, however they have been advised to wait for further investigations as her head is still missing.
