A 27 year old Chrisantus Omondi is in police custody in Texas, USA after beating a 51-year-old Scott Jackson to death with firewood.
Scott Jackson operated a firewood delivery business. He was making a delivery in Fort Worth when the attack took place.
According to the customer who was also injured, Omondi was naked when the attack happened.
Chrisantus Omondi approached the two men as they were loading the wood into a wheelbarrow.
"This random guy shows up and gets directly in my face and accuses me of being on his property and being in his house," the customer said to WFAA. "He was extremely naked."
The customer reportedly told Omondi to leave, which is when Omondi "picked up a piece of firewood and struck Jackson in the head." Omondi also hit the customer with firewood and chased him into the backyard, where he escaped into his house and called police.
According to a witness, Omondi dumped the wheelbarrow on Jackson's body before leaving the yard and returning to an Airbnb a few homes down on the same street as the delivery that was taking place.
A woman renting a separate room in the Airbnb told police that Omondi "came running into the house, yelling at her," and that he tried to force his way into the room she was renting.
Omondi was arrested on Saturday and booked into the Tarrant County Corrections Center. He is charged with murder, aggravated assault against a security officer, and obstruction.
