Since her rise in the music career, Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB) signed artiste, Zuchu has been accused of using witchcraft to rally people behind behind her craft.

However, the singer has dismissed the claims, clarifying that she has never used witchcraft atany point of her music career.

Zuchu credited her immense success in music to God, further saying that she would never trust a fellow human as her God.

"I have never gone to a witchdoctor and I will never trust in a fellow human being as my God. My success is from the almighty God because I have never thought of witchcraft," she said.

This came a month after it emerged that the singer reportedly turned down a KSh 12 million endorsement deal.

Speaking at an interview, the WCB Wasafi record label signee said she turned down a deal to endorse an alcoholic drink to protect her Muslim beliefs.

Zuchu argued that if one is endorsing a product, then one must consume it.

"It would not have been fair to the client. When you advertise a drink, you have to consume it. I do not consume alcohol, the deal was worth Tsh250 million," Zuchu said.
