Digital creator Henry DeSagu was rescued by a Good Samaritan after being found in distress on Thika Road.
A Facebook post by Mwalimu Francis Njiriri described the situation, which started when he saw the comedian wandering aimlessly on Thika-Ngoingwa-Mangu Road.
Cars were honking to avoid him as he seemed unaware of the busy street around him. Noticing something was wrong, Njiriri decided to step in.
When he got closer, he was surprised to recognize Henry DeSagu.
“DeSagu was not himself,” Njiriri remembered. “He was shouting and speaking nonsensically. I felt I had to help.”
With help from some bystanders, Njiriri convinced DeSagu to get into his car. They took him to Thika Level 5 Hospital, where Dr. Catherine, a psychiatrist on duty, provided immediate assistance. Njiriri thanked everyone who helped.
"Let’s remember to check on the people who matter most to us, as you never know when a simple gesture of care could make all the difference, " he said.
Two days ago, Henry Desagu posted a video on social media, expressing that he felt unsafe and wished his wife and children a happy life.
The post, which worried many fans, was quickly deleted, and Desagu soon reassured followers that he was well.
