Oga Obinna Has Hired Kimani Mbugua To Join Obinna TV, With His Start Date Scheduled For January 2025.
In an interview where Obinna Hosted the former citizen TV journalist, he shared that the move to hire him is a way of helping him get back to the limelight after long battle with bipolar disorder.
He shared that Kimani Mbugua will host the current affairs department at Obinna studios and digital streamlining activities.
Obinna shared that his aim is to see Kimani Mbugua make a comeback to the media industry by having a new name and a source of income.
Kimani Mbugua a budding journalist had a successful career where he worked at Nation FM and later at Royal Media, where he graced the screens of Citizen TV, Inooro TV, and Hot 96.
However, he left the limelight in 2020 and since then he's bravely spoken out about his battles with mental illness.
He was recently discharged from Rehab. In October Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has shared news about the recovery of Kimani Mbugua.
Kimani Mbugua was all smiles as he sang a rendition of Sauti Sol's popular song Feel My Love.
Explaining his recovery, Mbugua expressed gratitude to the former governor.
