Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi has called out gengetone artist Odi Wa Murang'a for lying that he was attacked by bouncers while in the washrooms.

Odi Wa Murang'a had initially shared that he went to Mi Amor Lounge and one of the bouncers followed him to the washroom, touching him inappropriately thinking he was drunk.

"Something happened to me while I had gone to Mi Amor Lounge. So we went and had drinks and I went to the washrooms to relieve myself. One of the bouncers from Mi Amor followed me to the washrooms probably thinking that I was drunk."

The singer said he was lucky that his friend came looking for him and rescued him from the bouncer.

Eric Omondi has however claimed that Odi Wa Murang'a was dishonest in his statement.

He said Odi Wa Murang'a was in the wrong place when the incident happened. The comedian shared a video showing Odi Wa Murang'a headed to the ladies washrooms with a lady and bouncers followed him.

According to Eric Omondi, the bouncers intervened after one lady raised an alarm after seeing the musician in the ladies washrooms. He claimed that Odi changed the story after he was caught.

"LONG POST ALERT!!! Sasa huyu Odi Wa Muranga kwani hana Keja Jana alishikwa Kwa Ladies (Choo ya Madem) Akikulana hapa @loungemi_amor sasa anajaribu ku change story. One of our lady Clients raised an alarm after kuwapata Kwa Ladies akaita ma Bouncer wakatolewa (SEE EVIDENCE ABOVE)."

Eric Omondi accused Odi Wa Murang'a of lying to create attention to the club which might cost people their jobs.

"Mazee vijana tukue serious kidogo na life. Sisi tumefungua hustle hapa Lang'ata yakusaidia vijana. Hii club tumefungua hapa ime employ watu ka 60 na wote ni vijana wana hustle for their families. Tusiharibie watu unga na hizi times economy ni ngumu."
