Kiss FM's Breakfast show host Oga Obinna has left the station after just one year.

Oga Obinna revealed that he is leaving the station after the completion of his one year contract and he and the employer agreed to end their relationship amicably.

"I’m no longer at Kiss. I have finished my contract. The experience has been beautiful and I have achieved my dream and did everything I wanted to do. And everything I do from now henceforth will be extra."

Oga Obinna who was hosting the breakfast show with Sheila Kwamboka, said his reason for leaving the station was personal and revealed  his last day at the station was last week on Monday, April 17, 2023.

"I am going back to be doing my content creation. I have enough time to do that as I also concentrate on other things."

Obinna said  radio was his first love  and if in future he gets another opportunity he will take it for the money.

"If I get another opportunity on radio, I will go back there and do any show, whether breakfast or drive. I will do it for the money. It used to be for the love, but we can’t feed our children with love, it is for the money."

Oga Obinna joined the station after Jalang'o left the station to focus on politics.

He worked for months with Kamene Goro before she left the radio station too. Sheila Kwamboka became his co-host months ago after she replaced Kamene.

Oga stated that his experience at Kiss has been wonderful and the two co-hosts he worked with were amazing.
