Tanzanian actress Wema Sepetu has disclosed reasons behind her highly publicised breakup with Tanzanian bongo star Diamond Platnumz.
In an interview with Haji Sunday Manara, Wema Sepetu said she dumped Diamond Platnumz because of infidelity.
She revealed that she grew tired of constantly dealing with Diamond’s unfaithfulness and how she had tried to address the issues head-on.
"I had reached my limit. I tackled the problems that needed to be addressed, but eventually, I decided to end my relationship with Diamond. I even refused to accept his gift of a car in front of others because I could no longer bear his repeated acts of betrayal."
Previous reports suggested that the split was due to Wemas inability to conceive when Diamond wanted a child.
Diamond and Wema shared a deep love, even going as far as engaging in a blood covenant to symbolize their commitment. Diamond even dedicated a song titled "Nawaza" to Wema, showcasing their affection.
However, Diamond's involvement with Zari Hassan, resulting in her pregnancy, became a turning point for Wema, leading her to call it quits.
