Kenyan YouTuber Robert Ndegwa Kamau well known as Thee Pluto has taken legal action against blogger Njambi Fever after she allegedly published defamatory post accusing him of cheating on Felicity Shiru with an unidentified lady in Mombasa.
Njambi published a story alleging that Pluto paid a lady to be silent after having a good night together, despite him being in a relationship with Felicity Shiru, who they have a daughter Zoey together.
In a legal letter shared on his Instagram account on Monday, Thee Pluto addressed the defamatory statements made by Njambi on her widely followed Instagram page.
The legal letter highlights that Njambi Fever published a series of posts on her Instagram page, claiming to depict conversations between her, an unidentified lady, and Thee Pluto.
These statements according to the demand letter, were false, defamatory, malicious, and intended to tarnish Thee Pluto's reputation.
"On or about the 24th day of May 2023, you published or caused to be published a number of posts on the said Instagram page in form of dissapearing status wherein you included a set of information about our client that as you well knwo was false, defamatory, malicious and meant to paint him in bad light and opinion."
The letter details conversations between Njambi and the person leaking details of the cheating and between Njambi and the lady encouraging her to leak videos and texts of escapades in Mtwapa.
The Letter from Pluto's legal team to Njambi outlines three demands:
A formal admission of fault and liability for defaming Thee Pluto. Secondly, they require Njambi to disclose the full identification and contact details of the source of the alleged third-party information mentioned in her posts. Thirdly, they insist on a retraction of the defamatory publications with equal prominence as the original posts.
Failure to meet the demands in three days will lead to Pluto's team initiating legal proceedings against Njambi.
