Tanzanian bongo star Alikiba has lost his YouTube channel to hackers.
The hackers took over and changed Alikiba's YouTube channel with 1.6 Million subscribers to a new name, Tesla inc.
Hackers are using the channel to broadcast pre-recorded ‘live-streaming’ crypto-scam videos featuring Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
Alikiba has been uploading music on the channel for years and it has been so popular among his fans who are always eager for new music. However, Unfortunately for everyone involved, it has become the latest high-profile channel to be hacked.

While the details of how the hackers took over Alikiba's channel remain unclear, neither the musician nor anyone else in his management team has issued an official statement.
This is not the first time this is happening to the Mahaba hitmaker.
Few Years ago, hackers took control of his YouTube account and stalled viewership of his then new video ‘Mvumo Wa Radi’
Alikiba released video for his song titled ‘Mvumo Wa Radi’ and it was uploaded on YouTube. To his surprise, the video’s viewership were stalled and the views no longer increased despite many of his fans watching it.
Alikiba, upon realization, addressed the issue on his social media platforms.
Alikiba is currently in Kenya for his much-anticipated county tour as he celebrates 20 years in the music industry.
The tour is set to commence in Naivasha during the highly-anticipated World Rally Competition on June 23.He will also headline concerts in Malindi and Meru on July 1 and July 8 respectively.
