Kenyan singer Bensoul has outlined why he broke up with his long time girlfriend Noni Gathoni. According to the singer, the love between the two faded and he is the one who initiated the breaking up process.
Speaking in an interview with Radio Jambo's Massawe Japani, Bensoul admitted that a time came when their romantic connection came to an absolute halt. This prompted him to break up with Noni and as at the moment, they are both happy and focused on their careers.
“It reached a point where there was no love. We are both happy now. There is no need to force something and struggle later on,” Bensoul said. The father of one feels that being single has helped him become more focused on his music career.
“The relationship simply ended. You know, love sometimes fades away. I’m enjoying being single. My focus now is on my music and raising my daughter,” Bensoul said.
The break up came way later after Noni forgave Bensoul for impregnating another girl known as Tiffany Muikamba.
