Popular content creator Brian Chira has apologized to radio presenter and TikTok queen Azziad Nasenya.
In a video shared on social media, Chira admitted that the damage has already been done and what they can do now is move forward.
Chira said he is aware of the mistakes he made. He said that he respects Azziad Nasenya so much to a point he adores and worships her.
"Please I am so sorry about what has been going on , I don't want this thing to get out of hand because I am only 22, I am young. my grandmother and my two cousins are waiting for me, please am begging you in Jesus name, can we end this please."
Chira proposed a meet up with Azziad Nasenya so that he can say sorry in person. He shared that he knows Azziad's favourite things are socks and avocados and he can get them for her as a gift as they eat nyama choma together.
The content creator said he is on his knees begging for forgiveness and he has already learnt his lesson. He said he is ready to do anything Azziad wants him to do including going to the rehab.
Chira spent 3 days and four nights in jail after he was arrested for defaming Azziad Nasenya.
According to Azziad's lawyer, the team took legal action after Chira insulted Azziad on Tik Tok live and also shared her contacts on social media.
On Monday, July 31, he was presented in court where he denied defamation charges. He was released on a cash bail of Sh50,000.
Azziad's lawyer stated that if Chira sincerely apologizes to Azziad, then she is at liberty of accepting the apology.
