Kenyan dancehall artist, KRG the Don surprised fans after wishing his alleged daughter, Yvonne Njoki a happy birthday.
The musician wrote the message on his Insta Stories where he wrote; "Happy birthday Yvonne ML and MB. Mungu azidi kukubariki tele."
In June, KRG and Yvonne's mother sat down for an interview with YouTuber Nicholas Kioko in an attempt to solve the issue of Yvonne's paternity.
The mother maintained that Krg fathered her daughter and was even present in their lives for the first few months. She claimed that she met KRG when she was 13 years old and he was working in Gikomba.
The musician on the other hand claimed he has never met the woman prior to the interview. He maintained that he never dated her and she is probably mistaking him for someone else.
The two had a heated argument as they both tried to prove different points. The mother said she named her daughter after KRG's mother, Njoki yet she has never met him. She claimed it was KRG's idea.
Krg however insisted that he was born in 1991 and there is no possibility that he fathered the child since he was still in primary school.
Weeks later, KRG decided to sponsor Yvonne's college education.
KRG decided to pay for the young girl's education to help her, not as his daughter, but as a young lass with big dreams.
KRG made it clear that his decision and actions are fueled by his love for Yvonne and people should not conclude that he is the biological father.
He added that he was not going to take a DNA test since he is sure he did not father Yvonne and the money can be used to settle Yvonne's school fees instead.
