Nigerian singer and Songwriter Burna Boy has overtaken Tanzanian Bongo Star Diamond Platnumz as the most streamed African Artist on YouTube.

For years, Diamond Platnumz reigned supreme in terms of YouTube views.

Currently, Burna Boy has an impressive 2,252,124,206 views, surpassing Diamond Platnumz's 2,246,395,673 views.

Diamond Platnumz joined YouTube ranks on June 12, 2012 while Burna Boy made his debut on January 13, 2018.

Nigerian star Wizkid is at third position with 1.76 billion views, Fally Ipupa comes fourth with 1.50 billion views while Davido comes fifth with 1.40 billion views.
