A tenant has left many surprised after revealing he has not paid rent for three years.

Speaking with Maina Kageni on classic 105, the tenant said he lives in Lavington and he has not seen his landlord in three years.

He shared that when he moved in, the landlord used to collect the rent himself at the end of every month, but for three years, he has not been showing up.

The tenant said his biggest question is whether his Landlord has a family and he wonders if the family is aware of his property in Lavington.

"Maina I live in Lavington and my landlord disappeared into thin air. Just like that! I haven't paid rent for three years mpaka na shindwa huyu hana watu wao? Mimi Naishi Kama Mzungu."

The man added that he paid rent for about one year after moving in but for three years he has not paid anything. He however revealed that he has been saving the rent and if his landlord shows up, he is going to clear all the arrears.

The morning show hosts Maina and King'ang'i had a discussion on how men hide their possessions and how some fail to inform their wives of the properties they own and money in their bank accounts.
