A Murang'a lady who tattooed the face of former Nairobi Governor, Mike Mbuvi Sonko, on her thigh has finally spoken.
In an interview with Nicholas Kioko, the lady identified as Maryanne Njoki said she drew the tattoo out of love and appreciation for the former governor.
Maryanne said she loves Sonko because of the work he does and his support for the less fortunate in the society and she felt that she needed to show him some love for the good work.
The mother of two said she has other tattoos of her children and that she paid Ksh 5,000 to the tattoo artist for the Sonko tattoo.
She shared that she did not get the tattoo inorder to chase clout or fame and unlike with other tattoos that she has, she did not post the tattoo on social media until the artist asked her to.
