Alikiba's Kenyan Wife Amina Khalef through her lawyers, sent a demand letter to Tanzanian bongo star Diamond Platnumz demanding an apology and retraction of false, malicious and defamatory post on social media.

According to the lawyers, Amina has never had any unprofessional, immoral or suspicious relationship with Diamond Platnumz as he alleged.

Diamond Platnumz thus defamed Amina when he insinuated that they had an affair and Alikiba was aware.

The publication which was shared widely is said to have caused Amina Khalef pain, tension, anxiety and suffering.

The letter demanded that Diamond Platnumz writes an apology and retracts his statement. It also mentioned that they would have a sit down to agree on compensation.

Failure to do that in the next seven days, Diamond Platnumz would be engaged in civil and criminal litigation and would be expected to bear all the costs.

In response, Diamond Platnumz through his lawyer, said the demand letter bears serious allegations and that at no time did Diamond Platnumz mention he had an affair with Amina Khalef.

According to the lawyer, when Diamond Platnumz said, "Habari yangu na Amina Nazani unayo," he did not Mention Amina Khalef by her full names and many people go by the name 'Amina.'

" For any statement to qualify as defamatory, it must make reference to the claimant and identification must be undisputed. It is impossible to draw inference from a statement that had nothing to do with your client in the first place," Read the letter in parts.

In conclusion, Diamond Platnumz denied the allegations, terming them as baseless and with no proof.

Early this month Amina Khalef called out Diamond Platnumz for dragging innocent people into their beef with Alikiba.


Diamond Platnumz made the remarks about Amina after he and Alikiba rekindled their beef. He claimed that he was ahead in everything and that Alikiba had a long way to go.
