Kenyan comedian and actor Eddie Butita has embarked on a new academic journey at the United States International University, 12 years after sitting his KCSE.
"Back to School, It has taken me 12 years to get to University Wueeh poverty is a bad thing, you know what ?I'm happy and my family is happy."
Butita shared that his poor background did not allow his father to take him to the university, after highschool. He revealed that his family's financial struggles and life responsibilities forced him to delay his university studies.
" After high school my dad said this to me. You see things are difficult here, just try and try, everything will be okay. God will open doors and if it's okay maybe one day you can take yourself to university. I have done my best. I have brought you where I could."
The comedian said that the one day had finally dawned and he is excited to continue with his studies.
"kumbe siku moja ilikua ni leo, it is never too late!!! You can do it. We are here to lay the Last nail on poverty even if they ask for papers we shall provide 😂😂😂😂 N/B Zoea waziri wako mapema."
