Tanzanian Bongo artist Marioo has reportedly paid Tsh 100 million (Ksh 5.8million) as Dowry for Paula Kajala.
In a question and answer session with a blogger, Paula revealed that Marioo payed the hefty amount to get her hand in marriage.
In the video, Paula and her mother, Kajala, were seen embracing while an off-camera person inquired about the progress of her relationship with the artist Marioo.
"Tayari ametoa mahari milioni 100,” Paula Kajala playfully answered while laughing hysterically with her mother Kajala Frida.
However, the person seemed skeptical about the dowry amount, suggesting that Marioo could hardly win Paula’s hand in marriage with just that sum.
Marioo and Paula Kajala have been sharing wedding plans on social media since publicizing their relationship.
Last week, Marioo posted online that he wasn’t ready for marriage, but due to Paula’s overwhelming love, he’s reconsidering his plans and is now contemplating marrying Paula as his wife.
Marioo and Paula started dating after her nasty breakup with Rayvanny ago with Paula claiming that the Mi Amor hitmaker will be her last lover. For good measure, she shared a photo of her lover on Instagram which she captured ‘My last.
This was in response to the singer’s caption on the same platform that called out on people ‘bullying’ Paula due to her past life.
He wrote, "There are people who have a big problem especially because of her kind heart or her fame. Please let this fine girl be. Let her enjoy. I know those who hate her are less yet she is still young and I do not want her to be hurt because I love her so much @therealpaulahkajala."
