Kenyan musician Otile Brown has called out Tanzanian bongo stars Diamond Platnumz and Mbosso For Wearing Fake Jewelry.

Otile Brown shared a post on Instagram where he claimed that the two artists talk so much about their jewelry yet they are not original or from reputable jewelry stores.

" with love, Punguzeni Mabati Kwa Shingo or you keep quiet. Hao ni watu wagani mnanunua chain kwao. Wauza chain certified wanaotambulika kwenye game duniani ni jewelry unlimited, icebox, Johnny Dang, A Jeweler."

The Kenyan musician said he believes in the slogan fake it till you make it, but he doesn't understand how the Tanzanian artists are buying fake stuff yet they can afford real and original chains.

" Y'all can't be talking rich all the time and still wearing fugazi. Ujanja wa nini and you are blessed? It's not bad wearing fugazi they say fake it till you make it. Tatizo ni kama you have made it and still rocking it and running your mouth."

Yesterday, Mbosso displayed his newly acquired pendant that bears his name and face.

He disclosed that a fully customized pendant cost him millions of shillings but with no regrets it also took about two years of waiting.

During the unveiling, Mbosso warned his fellow celebrities to stop wearing fake chains as they risk getting infected.

In August 2021, Diamond Platnumz spent Sh5,2 million ($48,000) to buy a new chain bearing his nickname 'Simba', complete with a pendant depicting the head of a lion.

Last year, Otile Brown caused a stir online after purchasing a Ksh.902,625.00 worth of pendant to commemorate his late grandmother.

He then tagged Ice Box, which is one of the leading Jewelers in the United States of America specializing in diamonds.
