Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan and Shakib Lutaaya are officially husband and wife. The two walked down the on 3rd October, in a grand ceremony held in Pretoria South Africa.

Friends and family including some of Young famous and African cast graced the ceremony. All of Zari's children were also in attendance as the witnessed her say "I do" to the love of her life. Her three older sons dressed in all-white outfits.


For their special day, Zari was dressed a gold gown with a white veil and net. Shakib on the other hand was dressed in a shiny suit. Zari’s youngest son Nilan was dressed in a similar outfit while Tiffah donned a gown as well.


The wedding comes just months after the couple had a traditional wedding known as Nikah which occurred in April this year.

In a previous interview, The socialite revealed that she has everything she needs in life and what she needed was to strengthen her faith as a Muslim, so Shakib gave her a Quran as bride price.

"I have  everything I have ever wanted in this world. God has blessed me with a beautiful life, my kids are okay, and my business is thriving, for or me, I only asked my husband for a Quran because I’m trying to up my faith game. I’m a Muslim too, and he was even surprised when I told him that. So he bought me one, so that it, only a Quran."

Zari and Shakib started dating shortly after she ended her relationship with GK Choppa. The two broke up in April last year and in May she was spotted with Shakib in Tanzania.
