Pastor Ng'ang'a of Neno Evangelism has called out a congregant who gave Ksh 500 as offering. During a sermon, pastor Ng'ang'a said the congregant asked him to pray for his family including his children.

" kuna mwingine Jana alinipea Mia tano akaniambia nikumbuke watoto wake, wajukuu wake. Mia tano!"

The controversial pastor said in this economy Ksh 500 is unacceptable since it cannot even cater for his car's fuel.

"Sasa Mimi nitawakumbuka aje? Mia tano! Ata hakuna mafuta ya gari ya Mia tano. Hiyo labda watu wa pikipiki."

The pastor went ahead to declare that he cannot hold a Ksh 500 service. He asked those who are willing to pay a low amount for him to pray for them, to look for alternatives such as witchdoctors.

"Hiyo no Ibada namna gani, Ibada ya Mia tano Fanya na waganga wa Nairobi. Wale wa panda mbegu, Sisi hatuna hiyo. We teach you, if you want to do, it's up to you. If you don't, hapa si wewe ulinunua ulitupata hapa."

In a previous interview with Radio Jambo presenter Massawe Japanni, the preacher revealed that he had other businesses prior to starting his ministry and that he is not reliant on church offerings for his survival.

"One thing you should know is that I am a very rich pastor. I had many shops before starting my ministry which I gave away."
