Kenyan comedian YY is grateful after he commenced the construction of his dream house.
The comedian shared a video on social media showing the ground breaking which was done by a tractor.
He also showed a lorry delivering construction materials to the location including sand, stones and ballast.
In another video, construction workers were seen digging the foundation. A gospel song played in the background as the comedian acknowledged God's doing.
" when God gives you an assist, you must score. The mansion begins," he wrote.
Unlike past cases of Kenyan celebrities squandering their showbiz money, YY appears to have put his earnings to good use by investing in a permanent home.
Other celebrities who are in the process of building their mansions include: Mr Seed, Mulamwah, Khaligraph Jones, Dorea Charge, Size 8 and DJ Mo among others.
Congratulations YY.
Last year, YY left many touched by his kind actions after he decided to build a house for a needy man from Kakamega county.
Willy Odhiambo sold the roof of his mud house a while back to cater for the medical expenses for his son. After failing to raise the medical bill of Ksh 10,000, he sought help from friends and relatives but when they didn't come through, he sold the ironsheets of his house and resulted to using plastic bags as the roof.
After the story was highlighted the comedian reached out and decided to help with construction.
