NRG Radio presenters Mwalimu Rachel And DJ Xclusive, have Offered Cautionary Advice To Kenyan music group Wakadinali after their performance at Oktoberfest.
The duo, during their radio programme, said that the group gave a substandard performance adding that going on the stage under the influence of drugs will make the careers of Wakadinali short-lived.
Rachel warned them that their fans who cheer them will be the same people who will eventually abandon them when things go south.
"Being high like a kite is what is marketable. Its what makes them talked about. Its giving them the clout that they need, but this is very short-lived. The same people who are gassing them up and telling telling them they are the coolest, mambo ya fighting the system and its up to them with their ideologies, I don’t agree with them are the same people who will speech out very very fast."
DJ Xclusive on the other hand said that during their show, one could hear Wakadinali slur and that they needed to be serious.
He added that the crew still have time to change and turn things around but the first thing they should do is change their management.
"Msikufe maskini vijana wangu. That is how we end up wasting amazing talent that could just end in the studio and we could never see them perform because clients want value of their money at the end of the day,” Mwalimu Rachel said.
