Kenyan socialite Faith Makau well known as Amber Ray has come out to defend her baby daddy and ex boyfriend Kennedy Rapudo. This comes after rumors that the two broke up after Rapudo was unable to pay their house rent.
A popular blog posted up alleging that their Kilimani apartment was available for rent after the couple stalled on rent arrears.
Amber Ray and Kennedy Rapudo’s Kilimani duplex apartment is now available for rent at KES 270,000 per month after the couple was allegedly kicked out for rent arrears” the post read.
Fans on social media went ahead to label Kennedy Rapudo 'Tajiri mwitu'. Tajiri is a name he got from Amber when they were still together. While the two were still together, Amber Ray referred to herself as 'bibi ya Tajiri.( Rich man's wife).
On her Instagram page, the socialite wrote a note clarifying that her break up with Rapudo was not because of his inability keep the house afloat but because of their personal differences.
She further asserted that she would never engage in an activity for purposes of click baits especially with issues concerning her personal and private matters.
The mother of two blasted the trolls stating that her rent summed up with Rapudo’s exceeded the rent in the duplex before advising netizens to mind their business.
First Ken and I separated because of our differences, not because we couldn’t keep our house afloat. And it certainly wasn’t a clout chase. I don’t do clout chase, especially not with very personal matters. Despite most people already aware of what happened, it is still a private matter and it is one that is being sorted out.
She further continued to say that she moved out mid month followed by Ken who moved out a while after since he couldn’t live in a five bedroom apartment alone. The mother of two clarified that rent was never an issue.
