Zari Hassan's Husband Shakib Lutaaya has shared an unfortunate incident whereby some of his valuables were stolen on Friday night in Uganda.

Shakib claimed to have lost two phones, cash, and pricey chains in a statement he posted on Instagram stories.

"Dear friends, I was robbed hours back. My bag that contained two of my phones, a sum of cash and expensive chains was snatched at my neighborhood supermarket."

He continued by saying that when he inquired, bystanders referred to a man known as "Benja," who they claimed to be a close colleague of Ugandan musician Pallaso.

Shakib's effort to reach Pallaso for help bore no fruits as the musician claimed he had no idea who Benja was.

"Out of respect, I reached out to Pallaso who is like a brother to me. However, his response was nothing short of disheartening as he said he doesn't know of anyone like that. He claimed ignorance, exhibiting a demeanor empathizing his superstar status who walks with a lot of people."

Zari's husband additionally vowed to track down the thief identified as Benja and deal with him accordingly.

This comes just two weeks after Zari and Shakib's home in Uganda was raided by armed thugs who stole property of unknown value and savagely attacked their security guard.

Zari said the robbery happened while she was not at home and that her security guard was ambushed, tied and attacked.

She disclosed that the thugs tortured her security guard as they sliced off one of his ears, cut through his head and used an AK-47 rifle to hit him.
