Rick Ross has Promised To Work With Kenyan Artists After Cassy Pool Called Him Out Of For Snubbing Them In His Upcoming Project

The 48-year-old on Saturday announced on his social media page that he will collaborating with notable names in Africa.

He mentioned that he would do collabo with artists such as Stonebwoy and Black Sheriff from Ghana, Nasty C from South Africa, and Harmonize and Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania.

The collaboration is expected to be a part of Rick Ross’s upcoming solo album, “Champagne Moments,”

After his announcement, Cassy Pool felt it was wrong for Rick Ross to leave Kenyan artists out of the project.

Cassypool took to social media to blast Ross, questioning his selection criteria and demanding that he have some Kenyan artistes in his project.

"I want to tell Rick Ross...Kenya has produced international artistes starting from our one and only Khaligraph Jones, the best rapper. You cannot compare Khaligraph Jones with any rapper within East Africa and out of East Africa or Africa at large," he said.

He argued that Kenya had more talented musicians than those Ross had selected.

"You go pick a village boy from Tandale another village boy from Makonde and you tell us you have picked artistes...This is the country that has produced the first black American president you must respect Kenya. This is the country that has produced the first athlete."

In response, said he is looking forward to working with Kenyan artists noting that Kenya is a home of legends.
