Hundreds of people from the Kamba community gathered in Kalundu,Kitui Town, for the installation of Dubai based billionaire Dr. Augustus Kyalo Muli as Kamba leader and the De Facto Kitui County Kingpin.
Present to witness the elaborate traditional crowning ceremony was former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko, among others.
Kyalo will lead the Anzauni Clan under the patronage of Akamba Clan Governing Council of elders, commanding a community of over 400,000 Kambas based in Kitui,Machakos,Makueni,Taita Taveta, Kilifi, Kwale and Mombasa Counties plus others based in Tanzania.
The installation is expected to send shockwaves across the Kamba community as the leader of Anzauni Clan will influence a myriad of issues in national politics,economic activities,heritage, and cultural activities.
This event culminated Kyallo being absorbed into the national Kamba Governing Council.
