President William Ruto has come to the aid of ailing gengetone and Mugithi artist, Peter Miracle Baby.
The president dispatched former Starehe MP Charles ‘Jaguar’ Kanyi to transfer Miracle Baby to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH).
Jaguar said the president expressed concern over Miracle Baby’s deteriorating health having been recently discharged from the hospital.
According to Jaguar, Ruto will take care of the bill that Miracle Baby will incur once he gets admitted at KNH.
The former Starehe MP further gave Miracle Baby’s partner Carol Katrue Ksh300,000 to cover additional expenses at home.
Jaguar noted Miracle Baby’s family has been spending more than Ksh20,000 a day to meet his basic needs and care for his post-operative wounds.
The former Sailors Gang member had been in the hospital for two months and was released after intervention by comedian Eric Omondi.
According to his partner Carol Katrue, Miracle Baby has been grappling with intestinal obstruction since 2018, a condition that was initially treated, and the appendix removed, although they were not informed of the procedure.
During the initial treatment, Katrue added that the doctors informed them of growth on the intestines that needed removal, which later turned out to be inaccurate.
