Kenyan Digital creator and radio presenter Azziad Nasenya has Denied Claims That She Is Part Of The Delegation Going To The Paris Olympics Funded By The Government.
On her Instagram page, Azziad stated that she was not one of the people the Ministry of Youth Affairs was planning to fly out to Paris, also clarifying her initial association with the Ministry.
She said that it was unfortunate that someone would come up with such allegations.
"I am not part of the Kenya delegation to the Paris Olympics 2024. It is unfortunate that someone would come up with false allegations on such a matter. My involvement with the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy, and Sports was centred around the Creatives Technical Committee of the Talanta Hela Council, headed by Daniel Ndambuki, AKA Churchill. I was selected and mandated to represent the younger population in the Creatives Technical Committee. However, the committee was disbanded in June 2023. I've not involved myself since."
Azziad further stated that each time she has travelled out of the country it has always been using her own money and never by the government.
