Media personality Shiksha Arora is set to leave KBC after three years of working as a news anchor.
Shiksha announced the news on social media, revealing would be hosting her final show on Friday, July 19, at 9 pm.
"My heart is overflowing with emotions as I type this. It’s hard to say goodbye to a workplace that I called home for 3 years & colleagues who have become like family. Thank you to everyone who joined me on this incredible journey on #EasyFriday on KBC for the past 3 years. I covered the elections, danced with the biggest names in the entertainment scene in Kenya, interviewed over a 100 celebrities & artists on the show & WHAT A TIME WE HAD! We’ve laughed, danced, cried, and grew together on @kbc_television This isn’t just the end of a show; it’s just the beginning of a new chapter which I am very excited for. As I say goodbye to KBC, join me tonight at 9 PM, one last time on Easy Friday! Grateful for every moment and every memory on #EasyFriday ❤️📺."
The media personality joined KBC as a news anchor in 2021 after quitting K24 where she had similarly served for three years.
Besides media, Arora has also established herself as a power house social media influencer.
Her departure from KBC comes days after she went viral for doing #AngukaNayo challenge with weatherman Nick Kosir in New York.
